Week 35: Doctor visit

Doctor visit was pretty good today. Checked me: dilated to 1. Apparently they have written in my chart to induce at 39 weeks because of Alley's shoulder displasia at delivery. No one ever told me. She said they would have considered the 23rd like I was hoping, but tubal's are elective (and they choose to do them during the week...) so Monday would be better. So, that Monday is labor day, I doubt they'll do it on a holiday, so probably Tuseday the 26th. But at least I know it won't linger on. I'm at peace about it. So we'll see. Again weird though, they bumped me up to two week visit. I'll be 37 weeks, so strange they don't go weekly? Oh, and the baby is head down. Praise God. Of course that's always subject to change, he seems really sensitive and ticklish.

32 week doctor visit

This 32 week doctor visit produced nothing but finding out Austin has decided to turn and is now breach. I'm not worried about the time I have left for him to be able to turn. More importantly is I'm just getting more and more uncomfortable, which again is normal in this ending stage. I was however a bit bummed to have the doctor just set me up to be seen in 3 weeks instead of the expected 2 weeks until 34 weeks when you go once a week. How many more things have changed since my last delivery six years ago? All I know is at 38 weeks I'm getting Dr. Brown, she's delivered four of the girls, induced the last two. She knows me, and will work with me.....please just pray for that with me. I'm determined to not deliver a 10 pound baby at 40 weeks!!!! AHHHHHHH!

Oh one side note, she said to ask for the room with the sonogram machine at the next visit to confirm his position then....

Some things don't change

Some things don't change, but just grow up. Isn't amazing some characteristics a person holds from birth? Or better yet, from conception. That scares me a bit with a baby boy more active than any of the five girls in the womb. Good thing I have the girls to help chase after him. I can't wait to hear the stories from the older women at CT baptist!!! Oh, and the heartburn........he's gonna have hair!!!

She doesn't still suck her thumb....smile.
